I painted this one on my free time for about week and a half( roughly 1-2 hours a day). Earth, city and light beam accelerators were made in photoshop, and I used some of my scans of starships done with pencil on paper from few months ago. First I painted rough textures of earth and clouds and added stars, then I worked on it with a lot of smudges blurs and paint, and many different brushes. Added atmosphere halo, shadows and light effects. Finaly I used film grain effect to make my painting a bit more realistic.
I am planning to use this for a personal project but before I do, I wanted to hear your comments...
